Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer Is the Brow Pencil Lots of Allure Editors Rely On—Review

When I sent a Slack around our office asking who uses Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, I got a ton of messages from my fellow editors who know and love it. When I asked if they could share a couple of sentences on why, they were eager to weigh in—as one editor enthusiastically put it, “Oh, hell yeah! Its itty-itty-itty-bitty pencil tip, smooth, waxy texture, and light color payoff make filling in the brows an effortless experience, whether you’re drawing fine, hair-like strokes to fill out thinning patches or boldening up the shape of a naturally sparse brow,” says Allure’s Nicola Dall’Asen. I tried the pencil myself and quickly saw why a lot of Allure editors have made room in their (very crowded) makeup bags to give this brow pencil a permanent spot. The formula makes brows look naturally thicker—not obviously drawn on—the included spoolie makes blending a breeze, and the triangular tip is great for drawing on hairs. I like to add the most to my arch, use a slightly lighter hand on the tails, and go easiest on the inner corners, where my brows are naturally darkest. Then I simply brush the spoolie over my brows to shape them while blending in the pencil.
