by Jane Chuck.: Ryse

I always love places that connects art & people. RYSE is a new hotel that just opened in Hong Dae, Seoul that is inspired by the idea not being just a hotel but also a hub for art & creativity from all around the world. Brand Director, Jason took me for a little tour and explained the whole concept of this hotel. I love how each and every corners of the hotel are so well designed.

The Interior by Michaelis Boyd

First thing that caught my eyes was the colors and textures. They have a prism resin walk way that I can not forget. The best time is when the sunlight hits right through and leaves a rainbow shadow. Good for shoe-fie 😝

Artist Suite by Yeojoo Park

RYSE collaborated with a few artist to design their Artist Suites. Lucky me, I was upgraded to an Artist Suite designed by Yeojoo Park and being one of the first fews to stay at this suite. I am so obsessed with the meeting table. And the toilet of course.

Producer Suite

Spent my first two nights at the Producer Suite. Fell in love with the terrazzo tiles they used for the toilet. Also filled with art pieces that I wanted to steal them home 🤫

Guilty Pleasures

Like what I mention, Ryse is all about connecting people all around the world. All the way from San Francisco, they have the Tartine [Coffee Bar] & Tartine [Toast Bar]. Trust me, I had the best pain au croissant from their bakery selections. Also, the famous Long Chim by David Thompson serving you the best of Bangkok and Side Note Club with their crazy vinyl selections.

Worksout Store

If you love streetwear you’ll love this three stories shopping space. They have the coolest street wear brands including P.A.M, Carhatt WIP, Stone Island, Cav Empt and many more. They even did the launch of Nike X Off-White football collection. (list of brands click here.)
