I Think We Should Put Megan Thee Stallion’s Color-Blocked Mani in the MoMA—See the Photos

I wouldn’t be surprised if, a few decades from now, there were entire wings of museums solely dedicated to nail art. Curious viewers could wander through exhibits of intricate designs to truly appreciate the talent and dedication required to create these memorable manicures—and one such set would definitely belong to Megan Thee Stallion, whose color-blocked, Mondrian-inspired nails are a total work of art.

Megan wore the manicure to the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards event in New York City on October 21. Her nails, crafted by manicurist Tahyva of nailsbytav, were a long, squared-off shape with different designs on each nail, all in a palette of blues, greens, pinks, and reds. A few nails were the most Mondrian-esque in style, with a series of rectangles in different colors fitted together, while others featured translucent jelly shades in pink and blue surrounded entirely by rhinestones. One of her pointer fingers was a collision of color, with fuschia, baby blue, and army green all mingling in a glorious combination. You could stare at these nails for an hour and still find new details to admire, just like gazing at a priceless work of art at a museum.
