True to its name, Three Ships’ Dew Drops feels almost as light as water going on and gave my skin a whisper of a moisturized-looking finish—it was a subtle effect that was just enough to give the high points of my face, most noticeably my cheekbones, a soft glow when the light hit them. I especially like the clear serum for layering, because it’s light enough to wear comfortably under pretty much anything you want to put on top (moisturizer, sunscreen) so it’s a great way to add extra nourishing ingredients like soothing aloe and hydrating coconut to your routine without changing the way your go to moisturizer feels or wears. It’s not a rich moisturizer by any stretch, so I probably wouldn’t wear it alone in the winter, but when I’m looking for a way to add extra moisture into my usual routine—or for a light serum to wear on its own, under sunscreen, on muggy summer days when creams feel a bit too much—this serum is a no brainer.
